Why foam comes out of the washing machine
You might think that having more suds in the washer guarantees cleaner laundry. That is far from the case. Too much foam in the machine means the appliance does not clean effectively. The large amount of soapy water can be due to several reasons.
It is also a sign indicating a failure in the appliance. However, the most acceptable reasons are related to the washing of light duvets, shawls, or curtains. They are lighter and soak easier, causing more soapy water in the device.

If suds come out of your washing machine while running a rinse and spin cycle, this is a telltale sign of a problem with the appliance. The damage could be related to something as simple as a clogged drain, hose, or filter.
