Washing machine door not opening

Why cannot open the washing machine door
Applicable to: Front Load Washing Machine (Integrated and Freestanding)
1. Maybe you try to open it too soon after the end of the program
Well, this is a normal situation. Try to open it about 5 minutes after the end of the wash cycle (after the bimetal in the door lock has cooled).
2. Check if there is water in the machine
If there is water in the machine, you cannot open the door. Try to do it after the water has pumped out or, if necessary, by performing an emergency drain on the machine.
Follow these steps:

Open the lint filter and allow the water to drain from the front. On some machines, you can do it by opening a slot in the lint filter and carefully loosening it. If the washer is without a lint filter, loose the drain hose from the back of the machine. Then lay it on the floor so the water diverts through the drain hose.
Check if the drainage is working right. Clean the lint filter if necessary and run a wash cycle to see if you can open the door.
3. Emergency opening
On some machines, the door can be opened in an emergency, for example, by pulling down a lever using a screwdriver or similar object. If the machine has an emergency release, you can find it next to the roller filter.

Make sure the water level in the drum is not too high. If necessary, switch to emergency drainage. Check the water temperature. You cannot open the door if it is too high and the laundry is hot. Also, make sure the drum is not rotating. If necessary, wait until it stops spinning.
4. Reset the system
Turn off the power to the machine and turn it back on after about 20-30 seconds. Then check if the machine works properly.

Try to open it about 5 minutes after the end of the wash cycle
